Flash and Video Files

The v9 has a Flash page type. These instructions are for the v7 users who wish to have Flash Files in the CMS .

Flash in the Editor

Upload your swf file into the Digital asset manager. Note the asset id #. This is found by going into the digital asset details window (click on the file name).
Under the file name you will see this line:
Static URL Name: Accessibility126.pdf
The number in the url name is the did number.
You must use the HTML window to insert the code on the page. At the bottom left corner of the editor, there are 3 icons. Click on the <> to enter html mode

Link to a Flash file in the Digital Asset Manager as follows

Copy the code below replacing the did= with the correct Digital asset id from the digital asset manager.

Save and Publish your page.

When you update the flash .swf file, confirm the did number has not changed.
